Contract For Sale

The advertising of products on the site is the way in which we are able to display all the items available to buy through the site. We aim to keep items in stock at all times but due to the very nature of our product range being imported or hand-made means that it is inevitable there will be breaks in supply in which case some lines will show 'Not Available'.
It should not be possible to order any item that is not in stock.  You can only place items in your basket that are currently in stock meaning that you can shop with confidence that the items that you have chosen will be with you within a few days.
However, on rare ocassions, stock levels may be incorrect and you will be contacted. That means your order is an offer, not a contract of sale between you and Shefaly House of Jewels, so prices and stock availability won't be contractually confirmed until you receive the 'confirmation of despatch' email sent once your order has been succesfully picked and we can confirm stock levels have been checked.

These terms and conditions cannot be varied except by changes made by House of Jewels on the site, which we may make from time to time. In particular, nothing said by any representative House of Jewels will operate as a variation to these terms and condition or constitutes a legal representation on behalf of either of them.

Sale Items - From time to time the House of Jewels will have items on sale. All the regular terms and conditions also apply to sale items. Discount codes that may have been advertised in various publications are not applicable in this circumstance.

Every item of jewellery in the House of Jewels collection has been carefully chosen to represent the highest standards of quality. See Our Gurantee.

Please be aware that whilst we take great care to accurately describe the jewellery shown on our website, a lot of the items are hand made and as such their composition and colour may vary slightly from that shown and are usually in some way unique.  Most items are described using size/length and accurate colour options.Items are very delicate and occasionally stones may fall out of the product if not taken care of. If a product arrives in unsatisfactory condition, please contact us immediately and we will put things right or offer a refund. However, this must occur within the 7 day window for returns, and any item said to be faulty after this period will only be eligible for a credit note at the discretion of the House of Jewels.
However we are aware that colours and images vary slightly according to the monitor they are viewed on. Also there may be occasional discrepancies in the sizing of items due to human error. We would be happy for you to inform us if you do come across any such item.

We will do everything possible to ensure that you can be confident of making a secure, risk-free purchase from us but in the unlikely event that you are unhappy in any way with our service or products, please contact us immediately and we will attempt to put things right or arrange for a return. See Returns below.

Making A Purchase
When you make a purchase from Shefaly.co.uk:
- You will receive an electronic confirmation upon receipt of your order as soon as your order has been received (unless your order has been made over the telephone)
- You will receive notification of despatch usually within 5 working days of your order being processed.

Occasionally items may show in stock online that are not actually available. The company reserves the right not to offer this product and to offer an exchange or refund. Fianlly, any items misrepresented in price on the webiste is subject to change at the owners discreation, as well as cancelling orders for any reason at the owners discreation.

Pricing Promise
House of Jewels wants you to shop in the knowledge that you are getting the best products at the very best price. Our pricing will always be below shop pricing and will always represent the very best value available.  All prices shown are inclusive of VAT.  If you are using your credit card to purchase items, your credit card company will charge you in your country’s currency at that day’s exchange rate. Local charges are not the responsibility of House of Jewels.

Returns
Because we are confident that you will absolutely adore anything you order with us we are willing to pay for any items that you would like to return. But remember that this needs to be returned to us within 7 days of receipt of the item. This 7 day window for returns applies to non-faulty items and items that get damaged in transit. Any items that are damaged in your care are non-refundable. Any items that are undelieverable to your address are not eligible for a refund unless they are re-delievered first. The 7 day window for returns also applies to this instance.

Please remember that international sales are not eligible for free returns. In additions international sales will only be refunded for the amount of the item and not postage charges.

When returning goods we would ask that you follow the procedures below so that we can refund your payment as quickly as possible.

Returns form
When your jewellery arrived, please email us first at returns@shefaly.co.uk or phone us on  557and we will give you additional information for returning your jewellery.

Arrived Damaged or Faulty - In the unlikely event that your goods arrived damaged or are faulty your first action is to inform us by email to returns@shefaly.co.uk within 7 days. Then return the goods by Royal Mail Special delivery. We will replace the goods at no charge or refund any money paid for the goods and postage.

Non-Faulty Goods - Non-faulty goods must be returned within 7 days after receiving the product. In the first instance please contact us by email to returns@shefaly.co.uk preferably within 48 hours. Complete the returns form dispatched with your order. Provided the goods are received in brand new, never been used condition and with the same packaging that they left our warehouse in, we will fully refund the price of the goods including postage where paid. You will receive your refund within 30 days although usually much sooner. You will be responsible for the return of the goods and ensuring that we receive the goods in the above condition. We strongly recommend using Royal Mail Special Delivery, insured delivery method for your own peace of mind.

How long will it take to refund me?
Before contacting us please take note of the timescales required to process a refund, all should be finalized within 30 days.

Once a refund is processed you will receive an email confirming this (the email will be sent to the same email address as your Order Confirmation email was sent).

After receiving the refund confirmation email, please allow a further 5-10 working days for the refund to be credited to your account. This time frame is dictated by your bank or card issuer and is outside of our control. (N.B Your refund will be credited to the same card with which you made your original purchase. If for any reason this is not possible, (e.g. the card had been declined or has expired) we will send a cheque to your billing address within 2 Working Days).

If you would like more information or not sure what to do regarding returns, refunds and cancellations, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Please Note: You should not write jewellery, diamonds or similar words that indicates valuable contents, on the package you are returning, as this invites possible theft of the package.

Items returned outside the above guidelines will only be subject to credit. A refund will not be possible if the item/items arrrive damaged as a result of the original packaging not being used, in these cases the item/s will be returned to you. Under no circumstance are we able to accept the return of earrings in compliance with current Health & Hygiene regulations. This does not affect your statutory rights.

When returning items you are strongly recommended to obtain proof of posting. We cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit. Upon receipt of items returned as faulty, Shefaly: House of Jewels will arrange for an exchange. The decision made by Shefaly: House of Jewels is final.

Extended Period at Xmas
Any purchase intended as a gift at Xmas can be exchanged/credited up to the 11th January 2010 providing the above criteria has been satisfied. Refunds will not be offered outside the standard terms.

Privacy Policy
Shefaly House of Jewels comply with all aspects of the Data Protection Act of 1984 and the new act of 1998 and as such are registered with the Data Protection Commissioner. We do not disclose details of our customers to any third party.

Our Guarantee
All our products are sold at or below the RRP. You will not find any items we sell cheaper on the high street. We have a secure online payment system via Paypal and a no quibble 5 working day returns policy & a 30 day guarantee on all our jewellery.
All your items will be delivered to your door within 5 - 7 working days.

We will replace your item free of charge and take your case up with Royal Mail.
It is vital to obtain a proof of postage certificate when returning goods as we can't be held responsible for goods lost in transit to us.
If an exact replacement is not possible a full refund will be made by cheque within 14 days of us receiving the returned items. Shefaly: House of Jewels will not accept returned items that have been damaged through misuse, neglect, accident or intent howsoever caused. If you do not inform us within 7 working days, then we will have no liability for items said to be damaged/faulty/incorrect on delivery.
